Bei der Betriebsbesichtigung staunte man nicht schlecht über die Dimensionen so mancher hier in Rott produzierten Anlagen.Noch immer beeindruckt von dem informationsreichen Rundgang ging es dann im Landgasthof Stechl um die Landes-, Bundes- und Europapolitik. Landtagsabgeordneter Otto Lederer stellte sich den Fragen der Ortsverantwortlichen.Zum Thema Landespolitik und angesichts manch skurriler und undurchführbarer Anträge und Meinungen der Opposition meinte Otto Lederer, ein wichtiger Anteil der Arbeit im Landtag bestimmt das Bemühen „zu verhindern, dass Schlimmeres kommt“. Übertrittszeugnisse abzuschaffen und den Eltern freie Entscheidung geben wer ins Gymnasium geht, Serbien, Bosnien und Mazedonien nicht als sichere Staaten auszuweisen, in Bebauungsplänen keine Stellplätze für Autos mehr auszuweisen (nach dem Motto „kein Stellplatz, kein Auto“) – solche Utopien gelte es zu verhindern.Stolz zeigte sich auch Otto Lederer über den geplanten Doppelhaushalt 2014/2015 ohne neue Verschuldung und mit einem geplanten Schuldenabbau in Höhe von einer Milliarde Euro. Schon jetzt und auch in Zukunft geht jeder dritte Euro des Staatshaushaltes in die Bildung. „Auch die Kommunen werden nicht zu kurz kommen, der kommunale Finanzausgleich wurde auf 8,3 Milliarden Euro festgesetzt und damit um eine Viertelmilliarde angehoben. Ein großer Wurf – weil eine Investition in die Zukunft – sind die Ausgaben für das Förderprogramm zur Breitbandversorgung. Rege diskutiert wurde im Anschluss über kommunale Angelegenheiten wie Straßenbau, Grund- und Hauptschulen, Verteilung von Zuschüssen.”Die Treffen vor Ort an der Basis zeigten sich immer wieder als wichtiges Instrument zur Feinabstimmung der Landespolitik. Lederer: „Solange die Abgeordneten das Ohr an der Basis haben, wird in der Landesregierung Politik nahe am Willen des Volkes gemacht.”

Zweimal jährlich lädt Bezirksrat Sebastian Friesinger die CSU-Ortsvorsitzenden des nördlichen Landkreises Rosenheim zum Informationstreffen ein. Dieses Mal traf man sich in Rott am Inn. Dabei wurde der Bogen weit gespannt – von der Region bis nach Europa. Treffpunkt war die Firma ALPMA, wo Gottfried Hain, der „Senior“ der Firma einen Überblick über die Entwicklung der ALPMA vom Verpackungsmaschinen-Hersteller zum High Tec Produzenten von Käsebereitungs–, Schneide- und Verpackungsstraßen gab.
