Eigenwillig und dilettantisch

Zum Bericht "Heftiger Streit nach Discounter-Aus" im Lokalteil: Es mutet schon sehr eigenwillig an, was da in der Sondersitzung des Rotter Gemeinderats zum Discounterstandort am 1. August abgelaufen ist. Erst stellt sich heraus, dass Bürgermeister Schaber monatelang mit Discounter-Betreibern über Grundstücke Dritter verhandelt hat ohne sich diese vorher durch Vorverträge gesichert zu haben. Dann entschließt sich der benachbarte Landwirt das Grundstück zu kaufen, um nicht in seiner Arbeit eingeschränkt zu werden.

Nun wird dieser als "Buhmann" hingestellt. Warum eigentlich? Offenbar um den Schildbürgerstreich des Bürgermeisters zu vertuschen, werden ehrenrührige Behauptungen aufgestellt, wie zum Beispiel, dass Akten aus der Zeit vor Schabers Amtsübernahme nicht auffindbar seien. Als Höhepunkt kommt dann der Vorwurf, die CSU hätte den Discounter bewusst verhindert, um Schaber Versagen vorwerfen zu können. Da soll jetzt wohl die CSU, die Verantwortung für das Scheitern von Bürgermeister Schaber tragen? Dass die CSU keine Mehrheit im Gemeinderat hat, weiß doch mittlerweile auch der letze Bürger Rotts. Die eigenwilligen Schuldzuweisungen und das dilettantischen Verhalten in Sachen Discounterstandort offenbaren deutliche Führungsschwächen. War doch gerade das Thema Discounter für die BFR im zurückliegenden Wahlkampf eines der vordringlichen Themen. Es ist sehr schade dass hier nicht professionell vorgegangen wurde. Man sollte das Amt des Bürgermeister doch besser in wirtschaftlich erfahrene Hände geben - in einem halben Jahr haben die Rotter Bürger bei der Kommunalwahl die Möglichkeit.
