Die zahlreichen Kinder hatten viel Spaß mit der Hüpfburg und alle, die statt Bier lieber etwas lieblicheres oder hochprozentiges wollten, fanden eine reichhaltige Getränkeauswahl an der Bar. Gegen 22.00 Uhr wurde dann der am Nachmittag aufgeschichtete Holzstoß entzündet, der vor dem klaren Nachthimmel unter den wachsamen Augen der Rotter Feuerwehr ein wunderbares Bild abgab. Allen Helferinnen und Helfern sowie der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Rott sei an dieser Stelle herzlich für Ihr Engagement gedankt.

Nachdem zum eigentlichen Festtag "Peter und Paul" in diesem Jahr die Weihe unserer neuen Kirchenglocken stattfand, hatten sich JU und CSU entschlossen das traditionelle Petersfeuer eine Wochen nach hinten zu verlegen. Und so trafen sich am Freitag, den 3. Juli zahlreiche Helfer, um Tische und Sitzbänke aufzubauen, den Schankwagen aufzustellen und Grill und Fritteuse vorzubereiten.
