Im Januar veranstaltete die CSU einen Informationsabend mit dem Architekten Richard Kroeff. Dabei wurde über die Standortvorteile informiert und diskutiert. Sebastian Mühlhuber war überzeugt davon, dass diese Veranstaltung unter anderem den Wendepunkt und zur richtigen Entscheidung für den Kindergartenstandort hinter der Feuerwehr kennzeichnete. Hier dankte er nochmals ausdrücklich Franz Ametsbichler für dessen unermüdlichen Einsatz. Durch tatkräftiges Werben um Sponsoren konnte im Jahr 2010 auch die Realisierung der notwendigen Beleuchtung für den Fußweg von Rott Nord zum Bahnhof komplett finanziert werden. Dieses von der CSU inizierte Projekt wird im Frühjahr offiziell eröffnet. Im Kassenbericht zeigte sich Kassier Franz Blattenberger jun. zufrieden mit dem Kassenstand, stand aber etwaigen Spendern positiv gegenüber. Nach dem Bericht der Kassenprüfer wurde die Vorstandschaft einheitlich entlastet. Wahlleiterin Annemarie Biechl konnte nach der Wahl die Neue Vorstandschaft verkünden: Als 1. Vorsitzender einstimmig bestätigt wurde Wast Mühlhuber. Stellvertreter sind Gertraud Rinser, Franz Ametsbichler und Hans Senega. Schriftführer wurde wieder Konrad Gruber. Als Beisitzender wurden Gilg Max, Konrad Ametsbichler, Martin Schreyer, Alexander von Hagmann und Dr. Andreas Dötterl gewählt. Kassenprüfer wurden Alexandra Schreyer und Franz Linnerer. In Zukunft fungieren als Delegierte Barbara Senega, Wast Mühlhuber, Franz Ametsbichler, Hans Senga und Maria Ametsbichler. Neue Ersatzdelegierte sind Alexandra Schreyer, Florian Lemmrich, Martin Schreyer, Gertraud Rinser und Alexander vonHagmann. Stolz kann der Ortsverband Rott auf seine langjährigen Mitglieder sein: Für 20 Jährige Mitgliedschaft konnte Claudia Herreiner geehrt werden. Für 30 Jährige Mitgliedschaft konnten Georg Dünstl (seit 78 GMR), Franz Ametsbichler (seit 84 GMR), Wast Mühlhuber (seit 96 GMR). Geehrt wurden weiter Rosa Brandl in Abwesenheit und Pit Schlatter für 35 jährige Mitgliedschaft. Auf 40 Jahre brachte es Josef Maier. Außergewöhnlich ist die 50Jährige Treue zur CSU von Albert Lindauer und Franz Blattenberger sen. wofür die geehrten die Goldene Anstecknadel der CSU und eine gerahmte Ehrenurkunde erhielten. In der abschließenden Diskussion mit der Landtagsab geordneten Annemarie Bichlwurde die Frage gestellt: Warum gibt es jetzt die totale Kehrtwende bei der Atompolitik? Dadurch wird man doch unglaubwürdig? Dies nahm Annemarie Bichl zum Anlass, um klarzustellen, dass die einfachen Abgeordneten weder bei der Verlängerung noch bei der jetzigen Kehrtwende gefragt wurden. Derzeit beträgt der Atomstromanteil 23%, genauso viel wie Strom aus Kohle. Es ist nicht möglich, wie Prof. Weigart sagt, den Atomstrom durch Einsparungen zu decken. Hier gäbe es noch eine Lücke und daher ist der Atomstrom notwendig. Ihre Meinung ist, dass durch diese Ereignisse in Japan sich die Welt verändert hat, und man dabei das Leid der Menschen nicht vergessen darf. Da weder die Endlagerung noch dielangfristige Versorgung gesichert ist, sollte man sich schnellstmöglich vom Atomstromabwenden.

Es gibt viel zu tun – packen wir es an: Mit diesen Worten begrüßte Sebastian Mühlhuber die zahlreich erschienenen Mitglieder der CSU und Landesbäuerin und Landtagsabgeordnete Annemarie Biechl, die für den kurzfristig verhinderten Josef Oberauer eingesprungen war. Beim Totengedenken wurde neben den verstorbenen Mitgliedern, Günther Zieglschmid und Altbürgermeister Josef Altinger, auch den Opfern der Naturkatastrophe in Japan gedacht. Im Jahresrückblick zeigte der Ortvorsitzende die zahlreichen Aktivitäten der CSU auf. Sowurde im Frühjahr neben einem Besuch von Klaus Stöttner bei einer Rotter Spedition auch ein Stammtisch beim Gasthof Hanslmeier mit aktuellen politischen Themenabgehalten. Im Juni fand das schon traditionelle Petersfeuer am Langacker statt, welches auch dieses Jahr dort wieder ausgetragen wird. Die CSU beteiligte sich mitdem beliebten Kino im Sommerkeller am Ferienprogramm. Der Ausflug ging im August in die als Weltkulturerbe ausgezeichnete Stadt Krumlov in der Tschechei. Am 3. Oktoberfand das Gedenken an den verstorbenen Ministerpräsidenten Franz Josef Strauß mit anschließendem Stammtisch statt.
