Gut besucht war das Grillfest der Rotter CSU, das diese zur Einweihung der Beleuchtung des Fuß-weges zwischen der Bahnhofstrasse und Rott-Nord veranstaltet hatte. Der Vorstandschaft der CSU war es schon lange ein Anliegen, diesen Weg für alle, ob Jung oder Alt, sicherer zu gestalten. So wurde mit Bürgermeister Schaber, Mitgliedern der CSU und Vertre-tern von e.on eine umsetzbare Lösung erarbeitet. Da zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Haushaltsmittel der Gemeinde knapp waren, konnten die Gesamtkosten über 6000 € auf Initiative der CSU hin aus pri-vaten Geldern aufgebracht werden. Nach einer Bauzeit von 2 Wochen sind nun die 4 Lampen in das Eigentum der Gemeinde übergegangen. Mit einem Präsent bedankte sich Vorstand Wast Mühlhuber bei der Familie Ametsbichler, die maßgeblich zum Gelingen des Projektes beigetragen hatte.

"Leistungsträger nicht demotivieren"
Bayern macht fleißig seine Hausaufgaben - und soll die faulen Sitzenbleiber unter den Bundesländern mit durchziehen: Mit dem einseitig auf Zahlungen ohne Gegenleistungen bauenden Länderfinanzausgleich muss nach Meinung von Finanzminister Georg Fahrenschon endlich Schluss sein. In einer kämpferischen Rede beim Rotter Bierfest forderte der prominente Politgast auf Einladung des CSU-Ortsverbandes auch Reformen bei den vor dem Bankrott stehenden EU-Ländern.

März 2011Es gibt viel zu tun – packen wir es an: Mit diesen Worten begrüßte Sebastian Mühlhuber die zahlreich erschienenen Mitglieder der CSU und Landesbäuerin und Landtagsabgeordnete Annemarie Biechl, die für den kurzfristig verhinderten Josef Oberauer eingesprungen war. Beim Totengedenken wurde neben den verstorbenen Mitgliedern, Günther Zieglschmid und Altbürgermeister Josef Altinger, auch den Opfern der Naturkatastrophe in Japan gedacht. Im Jahresrückblick zeigte der Ortvorsitzende die zahlreichen Aktivitäten der CSU auf. Sowurde im Frühjahr neben einem Besuch von Klaus Stöttner bei einer Rotter Spedition auch ein Stammtisch beim Gasthof Hanslmeier mit aktuellen politischen Themenabgehalten. Im Juni fand das schon traditionelle Petersfeuer am Langacker statt, welches auch dieses Jahr dort wieder ausgetragen wird. Die CSU beteiligte sich mitdem beliebten Kino im Sommerkeller am Ferienprogramm. Der Ausflug ging im August in die als Weltkulturerbe ausgezeichnete Stadt Krumlov in der Tschechei. Am 3. Oktoberfand das Gedenken an den verstorbenen Ministerpräsidenten Franz Josef Strauß mit anschließendem Stammtisch statt.

Informations- und Diskussionsveranstaltung zum Standort des Kindergartens - Entscheidung im Gemeinderat am 20.Januar
Rott - Der Standort hinter dem Feuerwehrhaus wäre der Beste für den neuen Gemeindekindergarten. Da sind sich prinzipiell wohl alle Mitglieder des Gemeinderats einig.Das Grundstück ist groß, zentral, es liegen drei öffentliche Gebäude in direkter Nachbarschaft und für weitere wäre Platz. Dementsprechend betitelten die CSU-Fraktion des Gemeinderates und das Rotter Forum (RF) ihren gemeinsamen Informations- und Diskussionsabend auch "Der beste Standort". Zu diesem Ergebnis war auch der im November 2007 vom Gemeinderat mit einem Gutachtenbeauftragte Architekt Richard Kröff gekommen. Er bewertete das Grundstück hinter der Feuerwehr aber nur in Sachen Zentralität und Parkmöglichkeiten als besser als das zweitbeste in Rott-Nord Mitte.
